snow snow and more snow

I can't believe it is 40 dergees and snowing like heck. It is a really pretty wet snow, sticking to everything. This is a take care of myself day. My girls, hoof trimmed, me time

Finally got around to trimming a few hooves. I waited for the coldest day of the year! But its done. Almost time for Booster shots, I've learned to give them closer to delivery time for peak protection, 1 mo. before.

rain, rain, rain --- mud mud mud --- yuck!

I was hoping the snow & cold would hold till shearing, but our snow is pretty much gone. So now my sheep are looking kind of dirty. Hopefully we get another snow to help clean them up a bit.
I got a yearling shetland ram (pictured below) this past fall and hopefully my 4 ewes are all bred. I traded my corridale whether for the ram. His name is Spot.

There are minimal expenses for this community at this time.

As the community grows it will be necessary to add storage space and bandwidth in order to keep it from slowing down. There will then be an added monthly expense to keep it going.
